Mr Peter Ng

Business Advisor, Narada Asia Pacific Pte Ltd 

Since 2005, Narada has established its Asia Pacific Regional Headquater Office in Singapore Peter Ng has served as the managing director, as well as a board member, of Narada Asia Pacific Pte Ltd. He brings with him more than 25 years of experience in the power and battery industry as a qualified Singapore Professional Electrical Power Engineer, lifetime licence holder (LEW). 

From 2017, Peter has served as a strategic adviser to the company. He oversees the development of the Centre of Excellence (Energy Storage) development programme, supported by the Economic Development Board of Singapore.

Peter led the company's strategic growth transformation from a local battery trading office to a well-known industry leading brand, Narada Battery and Energy Storage Solution, spanning markets in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Cambodia, Philippines, Indonesia, Vietnam, Myanmar, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Brunei, Australia, New Zealand, the Pacific Islands and India. Under his leadership, the APAC office has twice received the prestigious Narada Management Award for the Most Outstanding Oversea Performance.

Peter's expertise lies in business management strategy. He is an experienced team management teacher and business solution trainer who excels in explaining engineering business solutions, management know-how and product marketing strategies in simple and easy to understand terms. With a foundational belief that success begins with the people, Peter consistently provides technical and business coaching to customers and partners, to build team chemistry, products skills and after-sales services.

Ms Hum Wei Mei

Head of APAC & Head of Carbon & Environmental Products, AirCarbon Pte Ltd

Wei Mei is responsible for structuring carbon products and processes within AirCarbon.

Prior to her appointment at AirCarbon, Wei Mei spent over 6 years working on Climate Change related matters within the Prime Minister’s Office Singapore (National Climate Change Secretariat, Strategy Group). She was particularly focused on matters related to GHG accounting, Climate Risk and Emissions Trading. She also helped to articulate Singapore’s Climate Change policies at various local and international fora, including those hosted by the World Bank and UNFCCC.

Other positions she has held include Deputy Director for Regulatory Affairs at one of Southeast Asia’s largest utilities, Principal Analyst in Singapore’s electricity and natural gas sector regulator and Associate in the Corporate Finance division of a European Bank.

Her international experience includes postings to China, the ASEAN countries, and the United States. She has a Master's Degree from Yale University and graduated with a BSc. in Economics (Summa Cum Laude) from the University of Minnesota.

Mr. Kelvin Lim

Group CEO, Durapower Group

With over two decades of experience in varied Senior Management positions, Kelvin Lim is a strategic, hands-on Chief Executive Officer (CEO) with expertise in Technology, Business Development, Marketing, and Operations in Clean Energy, Electro-mobility, and Integrated Engineering sectors. Through strategic foresight, drive and determination, he has built a strong foundation and championed growth for the organisations he had served previously at ST Engineering Group of companies and at present, Durapower Group. 

In his current role, Kelvin oversees the global Strategic Development and Management of the organisation. He also serves as an Advisory Committee Member with the School of Material Science and Engineering at the Nanyang Technological University Singapore and a Board Member with the Electric Vehicle Association of Asia Pacific (EVAAP) and Enterprise Singapore. 

Kelvin holds MSc and DIC postgraduate degrees in Control Systems and International Business of the Imperial College in UK. Amongst the numerous accolades received, he successfully led the company to win the prestigious Apex Corporate Sustainability Award for the category of Clean Technology in 2017 and was also individually honoured to be a Green Champion as part of the PEAK Power List 2018 for his achievements and contributions in ecological sustainability at the global level. Kelvin’s professional interest lies in Electric Vehicles, Clean Energy Storage Systems and International Business.
