About-Us/Our-Committees/Carbon-Working-Group

The Carbon Working Group is a focused interest group under the Sustainable Energy Association of Singapore (SEAS), aiming to bring together experts and key players to provide vision, direction and guidance in the development and implementation of carbon projects in and outside Singapore.

The Carbon Working Group also aims to promote awareness of decarbonisation, carbon credit generation, REC generation, carbon markets, role of carbon capture, utilisation and storage (CCUS).

The Carbon Working Group committee is chaired by Vinod Kesava and vice-chaired by Hum Wei Mei.

Committee Objectives:

Committee Members responsibilities:

  • Review all relevant material before committee meetings
  • Attend committee meetings and contribute objective opinions on issues raised
  • Support the efforts of the committee by carrying out actionable items after the meeting (if any)

This year, due to the overwhelming support of our members, SEAS has decided to continue conducting webinars to keep our members informed and engaged during this challenging time, when we are all grappling with the COVID-19 pandemic.

We encourage our members to register and participate by asking questions and giving us feedback so we can continue to bring this flow of information and knowledge to you at home. This is one of the ways we will continue to support and connect our SEAS community.
