Er. Edwin T.F. Khew, is the Chairman, Director and Co-Founder of AirCarbon Pte Ltd, a blockchain based digital platform to trade digital carbon and invest in sustainable projects. He is also a former Nominated Member of Parliament (NMP) and currently the Chairman of the Sustainable Energy Association of Singapore (SEAS), an Emeritus President of The Institution of Engineers, Singapore (IES), a Supervisory Board Member of Solar Energy Research Institute of Singapore (SERIS) and a Board member of the Professional Engineers’ Board (PEB) Singapore. Er. Khew represents SEAS on the Asian Development Bank (ADB) Energy for All Partnership’s (E4ALL) Steering Committee as its Co-Chair and Chairman of its Enterprise Development Working Group.
Mr. Christophe Inglin is a veteran of the solar photovoltaics (PV) industry with over two decades of experience throughout the value chain from silicon ingots to turnkey solar power plants. He started in PV back in 1996 as Managing Director of Siemens Showa Solar in Singapore. In 2006 Christophe cofounded Phoenix Solar Pte Ltd, which undertook design and EPC construction of >100MW of PV projects in SE Asia, India and Middle East.
Mr. Frank Phuan belongs to the second generation of a family business that has been in the solar industry for 35 years. Incorporated and co-founded by Frank in 2015, Sunseap Group is the first full-fledged solar utility company in Singapore, currently licensed under the Energy Market Authority as both an energy wholesaler and an energy retailer specializing in renewable energy.
Mr. Vincent Low is the Vice President (Business Development) for G-Energy Global Pte Ltd. (Singapore). He is also a Key Qualified Personnel (KQP) accredited by Energy Sustainability Unit (ESU) - National University of Singapore (NUS) and Certified Green Mark Manager Professional (Cert. GMP) accredited by Building and Construction Authority (BCA) of Singapore.
Ms. Sandra Seah is the joint managing partner of Bird & Bird ATMD LLP. She has considerable experience in energy & utilities, public procurement, M&A, project finance, regulatory laws and real estate. She is currently the legal advisor to a large number of state agencies and regulators and is experienced in anti-competitive analysis and legislative strategy. She works with clients in a number of key sectors, including renewable energy, energy management, energy storage, fuel cells, green buildings, sustainable infrastructure and digitalisation.
Anurag Chatterjee is the Head Of Sales for Power & Renewables, APAC based in Singapore. Anurag has over 15 years of experience in the energy space, and has worked in multiple countries in the region during this tenure. He is currently also a board member of the DNV Energy Systems, Diversity Inclusions and Equity. During this time, he has performed a wide range of tasks in account management, risk management, business strategies and identifying and managing strategic partnerships. Recently with the industry facing the challenges & transformations caused by digitalization; he has been championing various energy transition practices with large corporations; enabling independent power producers for a profitable and a reliable ecosystem.
Jan is Chief Executive Officer of REC Group, the largest European manufacturer of solar panels, with factories in Europe and Singapore and is one of the few fully integrated solar panel manufactures that covers the full supply chain from silicon, cells to panels. Headquartered in Norway with operational headquarters in Singapore, REC also has regional hubs in North America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific. Jan is also Chairman of the Board of Directors of REC Solar Holdings AS and council member of the Sustainable Energy Association of Singapore (SEAS).
Soo Earn leads Deloitte Southeast Asia Financial Advisory practice. He has extensive deal experience in leading and supporting strategic and financial investors in their domestic and cross border transactions. He has also supported owners in divesting their business and entrepreneurs in accessing growth capital. Given his technical expertise in valuation and deals, he has acted as an independent expert on a number of dispute cases, handled numerous valuation and modelling engagements for M&A, regulatory & taxation, and financial reporting purposes.
Mr Koh is responsible for driving the strategic direction and growth of the Singapore and Southeast Asia markets. He has deep knowledge of the energy and water sectors with extensive experience in managing infrastructure-related businesses and a strong financial background. He has held various senior appointments in Sembcorp, including group chief financial officer, chief transformation officer, as well as the head of finance and chief risk officer of its Utilities business. Mr Koh was previously chief financial officer of Power Seraya.
Mr. Low Kian Beng is a shareholder of Zero-Energy Habitat Pte Ltd, an integrated environment management and consulting company, that promotes the development of sustainable business and low carbon footprint project in Singapore. Mr Low has more than 25 years of senior management experience in various industries that covers water, resource recovery, renewable energy, petrochemicals and engineering services across the regions.
Mr. Peter Lau is a Director of SDCL Asia and focuses on origination, evaluation, execution and management of investments in energy efficiency and renewable energy projects in the Asia-Pacific region. He has over 20 years’ experience encompassing Project Investment, Private Equity and Sustainable Finance. Prior to joining SDCL in 2013, he was an investment professional at HSBC Principal Investments based in London. He managed HSBC’s renewable energy and clean technology portfolio companies and was involved in a number of HSBC’s investments including a fuel cell manufacturer, a solar panel manufacturer and an electric car infrastructure services company.
Dr. Sanjay Chittarajan Kuttan is currently, Chief Technology Officer of the Global Centre for Maritime Decarbonisation after completing almost 3 years as Executive Director of the Singapore Maritime Institute, previously since 1994 been in both private and public sector i.e., R&D ( Programme Director at the Energy Research Institute at the Nanyang Technological University), line management (AP Technical Response Manager at ExxonMobil Asia Pacific, 10 years), business development (Business Development Manager at Mobil Oil Australia, 2 years); policy and program management (Energy Market Authority, 2 years) to management consulting (Petroleum Practice Expert/Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company, 4 years) and business leadership (Managing Director, Clean Technology Centre and Country manager, DNVGL - Energy, 5 years).
Sharad leads the Infrastructure Advisory practice, covering project financing, economics & regulatory and major projects advisory. He has over 20 years of experience across infrastructure sectors: power, including renewable energy, water, waste to energy, and LNG; transport; broadband; and urban/industrial infrastructure.
He has extensive experience advising both government and private sector clients across the project life cycle, from conceptualization to financing, implementation and performance improvement. The scope includes bid advisory, business planning, financial modeling, contract structuring, regulatory advisory, risk mitigation, project appraisal and fund syndication.
Mr. Vinod Kesava is a carbon market entrepreneur and is a Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Climate Resources Exchange (CRX) and the CRX CarbonBank. A pioneer in carbon markets since 2003, Vinod leads a team of highly qualified professionals in uniquely designing, developing and implementing carbon pricing roadmaps in addition to carbon profiling of both organizations and cities.
