Mr. Edwin T.F.Khew, Chairman SEAS, Chairman & co-founder AirCarbon Pte Ltd

Er. Edwin T.F. Khew, is the Chairman, Director and Co-Founder of AirCarbon Pte Ltd, a blockchain based digital platform to trade digital carbon and invest in sustainable projects. He is also a former Nominated Member of Parliament (NMP) and currently the Chairman of the Sustainable Energy Association of Singapore (SEAS), an Emeritus President of The Institution of Engineers, Singapore (IES), a Supervisory Board Member of Solar Energy Research Institute of Singapore (SERIS) and a Board member of the Professional Engineers’ Board (PEB) Singapore. Er. Khew represents SEAS on the Asian Development Bank (ADB) Energy for All Partnership’s (E4ALL) Steering Committee as its Co-Chair and Chairman of its Enterprise Development Working Group.

Mr. Christophe Inglin, Vice-Chairman, SEAS, Managing Director, Energetix Pte Ltd

Mr. Christophe Inglin is a veteran of the solar photovoltaics (PV) industry with over two decades of experience throughout the value chain from silicon ingots to turnkey solar power plants. He started in PV back in 1996 as Managing Director of Siemens Showa Solar in Singapore. In 2006 Christophe cofounded Phoenix Solar Pte Ltd, which undertook design and EPC construction of >100MW of PV projects in SE Asia, India and Middle East.

Mr. Frank Phuan, Vice Chairman, SEAS, Co-Founder and Director, Sunseap Group Pte Ltd

Mr. Frank Phuan belongs to the second generation of a family business that has been in the solar industry for 35 years. Incorporated and co-founded by Frank in 2015, Sunseap Group is the first full-fledged solar utility company in Singapore, currently licensed under the Energy Market Authority as both an energy wholesaler and an energy retailer specializing in renewable energy.


Mr. Vincent Low, Honorary Treasurer SEAS, Vice President, G-Energy Global Pte Ltd.

Mr. Vincent Low is the Vice President (Business Development) for G-Energy Global Pte Ltd. (Singapore). He is also a Key Qualified Personnel (KQP) accredited by Energy Sustainability Unit (ESU) - National University of Singapore (NUS) and Certified Green Mark Manager Professional (Cert. GMP) accredited by Building and Construction Authority (BCA) of Singapore.

Ms. Sandra Seah, Honorary Secretary SEAS, Partner, Bird & Bird LLP

Ms. Sandra Seah is the joint managing partner of Bird & Bird ATMD LLP. She has considerable experience in energy & utilities, public procurement, M&A, project finance, regulatory laws and real estate. She is currently the legal advisor to a large number of state agencies and regulators and is experienced in anti-competitive analysis and legislative strategy. She works with clients in a number of key sectors, including renewable energy, energy management, energy storage, fuel cells, green buildings, sustainable infrastructure and digitalisation. 

Mr. Nicolas Renon, Council Members SEAS, Executive Vice President and Regional Manager APAC, Advisory DNV GL

Mr. Nicolas Renon is the Executive Vice President and Regional Manager Asia Pacific for DNV GL – Energy Advisory. In his current role with DNV GL, Nicolas is driving the development of the APAC team and of the value propositions to customers and stakeholders of the Power & Renewables ecosystem. Nicolas has over 20 years of experience in multiple industries and in the global energy space. His experience spans across the energy value chain, including development and growth projects in the Renewable Energy and Smart Energy sector.

Dr. Sanjay C Kuttan, Council Member SEAS, Executive Director, Singapore Maritime Institute

Dr. Sanjay Chittarajan Kuttan is currently the Executive Director of the Singapore Maritime Institute, previously since 1994 been in both private and public sector i.e., R&D ( Programme Director at the Energy Research Institute at the Nanyang Technological University),  line management (AP Technical Response Manager at ExxonMobil Asia Pacific, 10 years), business development (Business Development Manager at Mobil Oil Australia, 2 years); policy and program management (Energy Market Authority, 2 years) to management consulting (Petroleum Practice Expert/Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company, 4 years) and business leadership (Managing Director, Clean Technology Centre and Country manager, DNVGL - Energy, 5 years).

Ms. Cherine Fok, Council Member SEAS, Director, Sustainability Services, KPMG Singapore

Ms. Cherine Fok is a senior professional with the Governance and Risk Practice of KPMG Singapore. She specialises in advising organisations on environmental, social and governance issues which impact business resilience. Her engagements include consulting on sustainability strategies, governance, implementation, due diligence, goals, metrics and reporting. Cherine is also active in the sustainable finance space and was the project lead for several landmark engagements, including the development of sustainable finance frameworks and the independent assurance of green and social bonds and loans. Besides client-specific engagements, 

Mr. Low Kian Beng, Council Member SEAS, Shareholder, Zero-Energy Habitat Pte Ltd

Mr. Low Kian Beng is a shareholder of Zero-Energy Habitat Pte Ltd, an integrated environment management and consulting company, that promotes the development of sustainable business and low carbon footprint project in Singapore. Mr Low has more than 25 years of senior management experience in various industries that covers water, resource recovery, renewable energy, petrochemicals and engineering services across the regions. 

Mr. Steve O'Neil, Council Member SEAS, CEO, REC Solar Pte Ltd

Mr. Steve O’Neil is Chief Executive Officer of REC, a global leading vertically integrated solar energy company, headquarter in Singapore.  Through integrated manufacturing from silicon to wafers, cells, high-quality panels and extending to solar solutions, REC provides the world with a reliable source of clean energy.  Mr. O’Neil holds a bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Montana State University and a Master of Business Administration from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, California, U.S.

Mr. Peter Lau, Council Member SEAS, Director, Sustainable Development Capital (Asia) Limited

Mr. Peter Lau is a Director of SDCL Asia and focuses on origination, evaluation, execution and management of investments in energy efficiency and renewable energy projects in the Asia-Pacific region. He has over 20 years’ experience encompassing Project Investment, Private Equity and Sustainable Finance. Prior to joining SDCL in 2013, he was an investment professional at HSBC Principal Investments based in London. He managed HSBC’s renewable energy and clean technology portfolio companies and was involved in a number of HSBC’s investments including a fuel cell manufacturer, a solar panel manufacturer and an electric car infrastructure services company. 


Mr. Lionel Steinitz, Council Member SEAS, Chief Executive Officer, LYS Group

Mr Lionel Steinitz is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of LYS Energy.

Lionel has been active in the renewable energy sector and a seasoned investment professional with capital markets experience. He has advising several governments on subsidies on electricity tariffs, corporations on financial modeling and structuring of specific projects and investors in the sector.

Mr Vinod Kesava, Council Member SEAS, Co-Founder / MD & CEO, Climate Resources Exchange International Pte Ltd

Mr. Vinod Kesava is a carbon market entrepreneur and is a Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Climate Resources Exchange (CRX) and the CRX CarbonBank. A pioneer in carbon markets since 2003, Vinod leads a team of highly qualified professionals in uniquely designing, developing and implementing carbon pricing roadmaps in addition to carbon profiling of both organizations and cities.
