| Description: | Invitation to bid (itb) :one (1) lot slatting machine Invitation to bid for the following: one (1) lot slatting machine 1. the philippine textile research institute (ptri), through the cy 2022 dost-gia project 3d warp-knitted natural textile fiber-based spacer fabrics for the local footwear industry ; sustainable textiles for the community-based philippine footwear industries (step-in) and dost-pcaarrd project community-based verification of fiber extraction technology using local bamboo species as textile material intends to apply for a total of sixteen million four hundred thousand pesos (php16,400,000.00) being the abc to payments under the contract for each of the following items: item qty unit particular identification no. abc 1 lot slatting machine 2211-1808 1,200,000.00 bids received in excess of the abc for each item shall be automatically rejected at bid opening. 2. the ptri now invites bids for the above procurement project. delivery of the goods is required by 180 calendar days (for item 1); 120 calendar days (for item 2); and 60 calendar days (for item 3). bidders should have completed, within five (5) years from the date of submission and receipt of bids, a contract similar to the project. the description of an eligible bidder is contained in the bidding documents, particularly, in section ii (instructions to bidders). 3. rebidding will be conducted through open competitive bidding procedures using a non-discretionary pass/fail criterion as specified in the 2016 revised implementing rules and regulations (irr) of republic act (ra) no. 9184. a. bidding is restricted to filipino citizens/sole proprietorships, partnerships, or organizations with at least sixty percent (60%) interest or outstanding capital stock belonging to citizens of the philippines, and to citizens or organizations of a country the laws or regulations of which grant similar rights or privileges to filipino citizens, pursuant to ra no. 5183. 4. prospective bidders may obtain further information from ptri through the bac secretariat and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below during office hours from 8:00 a.M. to 5:00 p.M. 5. a complete set of bidding documents may be acquired by interested bidders on 16 may 2023 to 05 june 2023 from the given address and website(s) below upon payment of fourteen thousand pesos (php14,000.00) for item 1; one thousand two hundred (php1,200.00) for item 2 and one thousand two hundred pesos (php1,200.00) for item 3. the procuring entity shall allow the bidder to present its proof of payment for the fees in person. 6. the ptri will hold a pre-bid conference on 24 may 2023 at 09:00 a.M.
