Innovation is an integral part of a companys operation because it enables the company to create added value to their product which in return could help the company expand its market reach. as such, to help msmes from pangasinan improve their existing products or create new ones, this product development activity is hereby proposed. this activity aims to help msmes increase thei competitiveness advantage through the provision of new and upgraded product design concepts in line with existing market trends through the provision of new or upgraded product design concepts in line with existing market trends. 2. project location Department of trade and industry - pangasinan 2f star building, arellano st., pantal, dagupan city, pangasinan Contact person: natalia b. dalaten Provincial director 3. scope of work/deliverables 3.1 scope of work: The consultant shall commence work immediately after receipt of notice to proceed. the work to be performed by the consultant include but not limited to the following: conduct product design trends seminar/webinar conduct msmes product consultation/assessment; conduct company/factory visit for atleast 2 days (designer/consultant to shoulder his/her accomodation and transportation to and from pangasinan during the 2-day visit develop/introduce new product designs (atleast 2 per msme) execution, development and prototype checking based on the designs presented facilitate presentation and critiquing of prototypes; and submission of documentary report of the product development activity from start to final presentation of outputs 4. terms of payment Payment shall be made only upon a certification by the head of the procuring entuty (hope) to the effect that the goods/output/services in accordance with the terms of this contract and have been duly inspected and accepted by the authorized representative.
