| Description: | Invitation to bid (itb) :installation of solar street lights The barangay government unit of mabini through its bids and awards committee (bac), invites suppliers/contractors to apply for eligibility and to bid for the supply and delivery of construction materials for the following project/s: 1. installation of solar street lights approved budget for the contract: php 500,000.00 prospective bidders should have experience in undertaking a similar project within the last 2 years with an amount of at least 50% of the proposed project for bidding. the eligibility check/screening as well as the preliminary examination of bids shall use non-discretionary pass/fail criteria. post-qualification of the lowest calculated bid shall be conducted. the complete schedule of activities is listed, as follows: activities schedule 1. issuance of bid documents april 6-april 26, 2023 2. submission of letters of intent and application for eligibility april 6-april 26, 2023 3. opening of bids (barangay hall) april 26, 2023 (3:00 pm) 4. bid evaluation april 27, 2023 5. post-qualification april 28-29, 2023 6. notice of award april 30, 2023 the bac will issue to prospective bidders eligibility forms at bac secretariat, barangay hall of mabini, llanera, nueva ecija upon their submission of a loi to the bac secretariat. prospective bidders shall submit the eligibility requirements to the bac at the said address. they april also obtain the results of the eligibility check by the bac at the same address. all bids must be accompanied by a bid security in the following forms: 1. bank certificate/guarantee of account in the amount of ten percent (10%) of abc or cash bond in amount of ten percent (10%) of abc; or 2. bidders bond which is five percent (5%) of abc callable on demand and issued by the government service insurance system (gsis) or by a reputable surety or insurance company and to be posted in favor of barangay mabini. the bac will issue bidding documents only to bidders declared by the bac to be eligible for the bidding upon payment of a non-refundable amount of five hundred pesos only (php 500.00) to the barangay treasurer. the barangay government unit of mabini reserves the right to accept or reject any bid and to annul the bidding process and reject all bids at any time prior to contract award, without thereby incurring any liability to the affected bidder or bidders.
