| Description: | Invitation to bid (itb) :rehabilitation / installation of street light phase iv Invitation to bid of rehabilitation/installation of street light (phase-iv) 1. the barangay government of balud, borongan city, eastern samar through the fy 2021 ira, intends to apply the sum of two hundred fifty thousand pesos only ( php 250,000.00, being the approved budget for the contract (abc) to payments under the contract for rehabilitation /installation of street light (phase-iv). bids received excess of the abc shall be automatically rejected at bid opening. 2. the barangay government of balud, borongan city, eastern samar now invites bids for the rehabilitation / installation of street light (phase-iv). bidders should have completed contract similar to the project. the description of an eligible bidder is contained in the bidding documents, particularly, in section ii. instruction of bidders. 3. bidding will be conducted through open competitive bidding procedures using non-discretionary "pass/fail" criterion as specified in the 2016 revised implementing rules and regulations (irr) of republic act 9184 (ra 9184). otherwise known as the "government procurement reform act". bidding is restricted to filipino citizens/sole proprietorships, cooperatives, and partnerships or organization least seventy five percent (75%) interest or outstanding capital stock belonging to citizens of the philippines. 4. interested bidders may obtain further in formation from bids and awards committee of the barangay government of balud, borongan city, eastern samar and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below during office hours. 5. a complete set of bidding documents may be acquired by interested bidders from april 04, 2023 from the address below upon payment of a none refundable fee for the bidding documents in the amount of five hundred pesos only ( php 500.00). it may also be downloaded free of charge from website of the philippine government electronic procurement system (philgeps), provided that bidders shall pay the applicable fee for the bidding documents not than the submission of their bids. 6. the bac of the barangay government of balud , borongan city, eastern samar will hold a pre-bid conference on april 29, 2023, 2:30 in the afternoon at barangay balud borongan city, eastern samar, which shall be open to prospective bidders. 7. bids shall be duly received by the bac secretariat at the address below on or before april 04, 2023, 9:30 in the morning. all bids must be accompanied by a bid security in any of the acceptable forms and in the amount stated in itb clause 8. the barangay government of balud borongan city, eastern samar reserves the right to reject any and all bids declare a failure of bidding, or not award the contract at any time prior to contract award in accordance with section 41 of ra 91894 and its irr. 9. for further information, please refer to: Hon. antonio a. cada Bac chairman Brgy. balud, borongan city |
