| Description: | Expression of Interest: Consultant for Results Management In response to the launch of the energy efficiency initiative (eei) in july 2005 which aims to expand adbs clean energy operations, the clean energy financing partnership facility (cefpf) was established in april 2007, supported by reta 6501-reg: expanding the implementation of the energy efficiency initiative in developing member countries (dmcs). The main objective of the cefpf is to provide financing to dmcs and help improve energy security, access and mitigate climate change through increased use of clean energy. The cefpf is composed of: (i) a multi-donor clean energy fund (cef), (ii) a single donor asian clean energy fund (acef), (iii) a technology-specific carbon capture and storage fund (ccsf), and (iv) the canadian climate fund for the private sector in asia (cfps). Its financing partners include australia, canada, japan, norway, spain, sweden, and the united kingdom. Operationally, the cefpf is administered by the sector advisory service cluster (sdsc) of the sustainable development and climate change department (sdcc) while the activities it funds are initiated and implemented by operational department. The role of cefpf is gradually widening as adbs clean energy activity grows and more donors trust adb to act as their advocate in managing funding support for low-carbon development. Accordingly, sdsc plans to continue cefpf operations to catalyze greater clean energy investments in the region. Scope of Work: The results management expert will work closely with the cefpf facility manager and alternate facility manager, regional departments and will be responsible for the activities related to day-to-day fund operations, budget and program monitoring, report preparation, application processing, knowledge management, and individual fund administration.
