| Description: | Expressions of interest for Consultancy Services for Integrated Authorization Process for Independent Power Producers in South Africa The WBG is seeking to hire a firm to support the Government of South Africa in its efforts to integrate the authorization processes across the value chain to license Independent Power Producer Projects in a single document and integrated authorization process for granting various licenses and consents for energy projects. This would be achieved by designing an authorization process and documentation that enables all relevant departments to have a having a single report that allows them to review relevant sections and grant the necessary consents and licences for energy projects. This will support applications to be completed in parallel with the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), which currently has the longest start to end timeline. |
