The Event MIECF

The Macao International Environmental Co-operation Forum and Exhibition (MIECF) started in 2008 and is strategically positioned to nurture business, technology and information exchange and co-operation between the PRC Pan-Pearl River Delta Region (PPRD) and international markets.

In 2012 MIECF received over 6,400 professional participants from 53 countries and regions with the majority hailing from the Southern China provinces/regions such as Hong Kong, Macao, Fujian, Hainan, Jiangxi, Sichuan, Hunan, Guizhou, Guangdong, Yunnan, Guangxi, etc. MIECF attracts mostly government/provincial policymakers and decision makers, top-level corporate executives and other industry professionals to converge, discuss industry trends and negotiate deals.

MIECF's exhibition, conference and business matching focus heavily on Energy efficiency, Green Building solutions, Sustainable Mobility and Sustainable Urban Development solutions including waste, water and energy, reflecting the growing demand for environmental protection products and services, 2013MIECF will also focus on the area of Renewable Energy.

Its strength lies in its business matching with various projects and opportunities in the PPRD region. For example, there will be large hotel and casino properties looking for energy efficiency and other environmental solutions at MIECF.
