Introduction to Energy Efficiency [SMEEE-201509]

Course Overview

Energy Efficiency is a way of managing the amount of energy used in producing a certain amount of product while improving productivity. The aim is to achieve more output with the same (or less) input. The amount of energy consumption varies from industry to industry and can account for up to 40% of operating costs which is the case for the manufacturing sector.

First announced on the 28th of October 2014 during President Tony Tan's visit to the UK (Source: The UK Government's website), Sustainable Energy Association of Singapore (SEAS) has teamed up with the Carbon Trust (UK) to roll out a one day training session on energy efficiency for the local market of Singapore.
