Course Summary

This 5-day training is designed to give you the relevant skills and knowledge to carry out audits of Energy Management Systems (EnMS). The training provides an opportunity for both Environmental and Energy management professionals to update their skills in interactive and supportive surroundings.

Course Objective

At the end of the course, the participants will be able to:

  • Describe the purpose of an EnMS, EnMS standards, management system audit and third-party certification
  • Explain the role of an auditor to plan, conduct, report and follow-up an EnMS audit
  • Plan, conduct, report and follow-up an audit of an EnMS

Speaker

Mr. Ng Ha Wai, Howie is an international adviser, lead auditor and course tutor in ISO management systems from TÜV SÜD PSB. With a background in electrical engineering and as an ISO 14001 EMS auditor, Mr. Ng led a task force to develop the ISO 50001 Energy Management System Lead Auditor Course shortly after the standard was published.
