The National Climate Change Secretariat (NCCS) under Singapore’s Prime Minister Office (PMO) develops and implements Singapore's domestic and international policies and strategies to tackle climate change. NCCS is part of the Strategy Group which supports the Prime Minister and his Cabinet to establish priorities and strengthen strategic alignment across Government.
As such, NCCS would like to work closely with local stakeholders (academic, industry, business partners, etc) in pushing for relevant and innovative solutions to address climate change issues in the country. This is an opportunity for the marine renewable energy and its related sectors to work closely with NCCS in writing a position paper to kick start the discussion about the potential of clean and sustainable energy production and its usage in the marine environment here in Singapore and also in Southeast Asia.
