The demand for green energy in Singapore is growing rapidly in a tightly supply-constrained market in the island nation.
Corporates are driving the demand for renewables and, with continued improvement of economics for solar electricity combined with a very supportive regulatory framework, new, more flexible options are coming up for leveraging solar electricity as a new tool to monetize unused rooftop spaces, hence maximising profitability of a property portfolio.

Dr. Stephen Tay heads the Urban Solar Group and National Solarisation Centre at the Solar Energy Research Institute of Singapore (SERIS).
He is actively engaged with the solarisation of Singapore by working closely with government agencies and industry players in their adoption of solar energy. In addition, he is also heavily involved with the SolarNova programme, which is a government solar leasing tender that aggregates demand across several buildings. He obtained his PhD from Imperial College London.
Arnaud is Regional Business Development Director of Cleantech Solar. He held various positions with Rolls-Royce and most recently was Senior-Vice President of the Services division in Asia Pacific. Prior to that, Arnaud worked across a number of industries including a period with Electricite de France (EDF).
Today Arnaud is responsible for developing relationships with corporate customers at Cleantech Solar.
