Energy Efficiency committee comprises of all the members in the area of energy efficiency technology & services. The committee meets once in two months to discus broad policy, technology, training, market development related issues in the area of  energy efficiency.

In order to focus on various aspects of this industry various working groups have been formed.

1. Finance

This group addresses the need for boosting funding for Eenrgy efficiency projects which are usually of smaller size. Various banks and financial institutions are engaged from time to time in order to discuss the challenges in this area of EE finance.

2. Programatic CDM

This is a new area under the Kyoto protocol that can be very useful for bundling similar projects which are smaller is size using same methodology leading to reduced transaction cost.

This group looks at marketing companies through trade mission.
