Asia is experiencing fast economic growth and governments across the region are striving to meet the high-energy demands for their population and industry. This coupled with the rising oil prices have made a good case for Sustainable Energy. At the National level, Governments are integrating environmental factors into development processes in recognition of the merits of Sustainable Development. At the International level, there is increasing International cooperation to protect the environment, a good example is the Kyoto Protocol on Global warming.

The objective of SEAS is to be the Regional & Global entity attracting Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Projects, which can do R & D, receive financing and grow its business in the East Asia region . The Association promotes Energy Efficiency and Awareness, Renewable Energy Technologies, Services, and Project Development and thus providing a platform for investors to engage with developers for Renewable Energy & Energy Efficiency projects

Another area that SEAS promotes closely is the awareness of Green house gas emission reduction, Climate change and Kyoto Protocol issues. SEAS will facilitate Carbon Asset Management projects & Carbon Emission reduction trading for Renewable Energy & Energy Efficiency Companies.

As an Association, we engage with the relevant Government Agencies, Ministries and Industry Associations to implement the various programs for the Association as well as meet the National goal of Sustainable Development
